More than 50,000 fans are expected to head to Hampden Park this weekend as Calvin Harris returns to Scotland for two huge homecoming shows.
The Dumfries-born DJ and producer will take to the stage on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, with demand for tickets so high that the second date was added after the first quickly sold out.
The Summer and We Found Love hitmaker follows Metallica and Take That in headlining the national stadium this summer. He’ll be joined by support acts MK, Jazzy and Ewan McVicar across the two nights.

Gates will open at 5pm on both nights, with the first support act taking to the stage half an hour later. Irish singer and DJ Jazzy will open Saturday’s show, while Scottish DJ Ewan McVicar will kick things off on Sunday before American DJ MK performs ahead of Harris.

Fans should check their ticket before arriving, as the colour-coded turnstiles at Hampden match the colour shown on each ticket. The stage will be located in the North Stand, while seated tickets are in the South, East and West stands, with standing areas in the centre of the stadium.
Those hoping to get closest to the stage should arrive early, as access to the front standing area will be available on a first come, first served basis. Fans who secure a place at the front will be given a wristband.
The venue also has an extremely strict policy for concerts. Hampden Park will not let bags into the venue if they are bigger than an A4 size sheet of paper (30cm x 21cm x 21cm), however anyone requiring a larger bag for medical reasons are advised to contact the Concert Support Portal before attending.
A number of items are banned from the stadium, including chairs, professional cameras, drugs, flares, glass, metal or plastic bottles, smoke canisters, flag poles, selfie sticks, umbrellas and weapons.

ScotRail has warned fans to expect busy trains throughout both concert days, with thousands of people travelling to and from Glasgow for the shows.
Extra carriages and additional services will be added between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida, which is the closest station to Hampden Park, to help manage the increased demand.
A queuing system will be introduced at Glasgow Central before the concerts for passengers heading to Mount Florida.

After the gigs, anyone using Mount Florida station should join the queue on Florida Street, which can be accessed via Cathkinview Road. These will be the only routes available for concert traffic heading towards the station.
Fans travelling towards Neilston are advised to use Cathcart station, while those heading towards Newton should consider travelling from Kings Park instead.
With Glasgow expected to be extremely busy across the weekend, concertgoers are being urged to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time when travelling to and from Hampden.
