Kelechi Iheanacho has penned an emotional farewell message to Celtic following his permanent transfer to Bursaspor, DAILY POST reports.
Iheanacho spent the 2025/26 season at Celtic, helping the Hoops win the domestic double.
The Nigeria international scored nine goals across all competitions for the Scottish Premiership giants.
Celtic, however, did not renew Iheanacho’s contract before it expired, paving the way for Bursaspor to sign the striker on a free transfer.
Iheanacho took to social media to thank the Bhoys for his memorable stint at the club.
“To Celtic FC, what we achieved last season was truly incredible. I’ll forever be grateful for the opportunity to represent your great football club,” Iheanacho wrote on Instagram.
“My thanks to Brendan Rodgers for bringing me to the football club. Thank you to Martin O’Neill and his staff. Special thanks to my teammates. I’ll miss you guys.”
