At least two Chelsea players have joined Xabi Alonso’s squad on the pre-season tour.
This is coming ahead of Chelsea’s pre-season friendly against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The two new arrivals at the team hotel in Sydney are Moises Caicedo and Nicolas Jackson, joining up with the Chelsea squad for the pre-season tour.
Caicedo and Jackson both missed Chelsea’s opening tour fixture against Western Sydney Wanderers, which ended in a 6-4 victory for the Blues on Tuesday.
The duo was not part of the initial group that travelled to Sydney because of their involvement at the 2026 World Cup with Ecuador and Senegal, respectively.
