Controversial Nigerian self acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has been granted N20 million bail after the initial N10 million bail.
This came six weeks after she was remanded in Kirikiri prison.
The Lagos State Special Offences Court granted Blessing CEO bail in the N69.15 million property fraud trial on Thursday, and ordered the Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS, to enforce her travel restrictions pending determination of the case.
DAILY POST reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had on June 9, 2026, arraigned Blessing CEO for fraudulently obtaining N69,150,000 from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited under pretext of securing a lease of a property in the Lekki area of Lagos in March 2025.
The anti-graft agency arraigned her on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretences and stealing. She however pleaded not guilty to the charges.
In his ruling, Justice Rahman Oshodi granted her N20 million bail with two sureties in like sum and ordered each surety to provide a three-year proof of deposits valued at N20 million.
The court however adjourned the case until October 12, 2026, for continuation of trial.
