Real Madrid have identified Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz as a potential alternative for Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez.
According to Fichajes, the Spain international is viewed as a more affordable option for the Los Blancos than Fernandez or Paris Saint-Germain’s Vitinha.
The report added that Ruiz would be open to returning to Spain if the opportunity arose.
Real Madrid will continue to assess several midfield targets before deciding whether to make a formal move for the World Cup winner later in the transfer window.
