See the full text of the disclaimer below:

My attention has been drawn to an online publication made by Mr. Ikenna Abanonu of New Berries Park, Enugu, alleging that I brought a caterpillar to demolish his place of business on 19th July 2026.

1, Mrs. Jennifer Onoh, the Chief Executive Officer of Jenew Homes Limited, categorically deny the allegation in its entirety. The publication is false, misleading, malicious, and intended to misrepresent the true facts surrounding the property in question.

For the record, the land in issue was duly allocated to Jenew Homes Limited by the Land Use Allocation Committee of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing (now the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development) on 15th August 2022.

Following the enforcement of a judgment of the Federal High Court delivered on 31st January 2022, possession of the property was handed over to Jenew Homes Limited by the Ministry on 16th January 2026. However, despite the handover, vacant possession of the property has not been delivered to the Company, a matter that has been formally brought to the attention of the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for necessary action.

Accordingly, I state unequivocally that I neither authorized nor participated in any demolition or attempted demolition of the said premises on 19th July 2026 or at any other time. The alleged demolition is completely alien to me and to Jenew Homes Limited. Members of the public are therefore advised to disregard the said publication in its entirety, as it is false, defamatory, and does not reflect the true position of facts.

Mr. Ikenna Abanonu and any other person responsible for circulating these false allegations are advised to desist from making or publishing further defamatory statements capable of injuring my reputation and that of Jenew Homes Limited, failing which appropriate legal remedies shall be pursued without further notice.

Signed:

Mrs. Jennifer Onoh
