Reps Deputy Speaker Kalu has no business beefing Gov Alex Otti – Aisha Yesufu

Activist cum politician, Aisha Yesufu, on Saturday said the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has no business “beefing” Governor Alex Otti of Abia State.

Yesufu said Kalu should be friendly with Otti while claiming that he is trying to woo the governor to join the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Posting on X, the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, member said such stance won’t upset the APC at the federal level to turn against him and the state.

“These people say they know politics but constantly display lack of knowledge. Ben Kalu had no business beefing Alex Otti.

“He should have been very friendly with Alex Otti. Even if his fellow APC frown at that, he should have told them that he is working on wooing Alex Otti. That way he does not upset his federal nor offend his state and local support.

“He decided to play God and was so arrogant with his words and actions. They don’t realise the power of the people because they have always truncated the will of the people.

“He was so carried away with number 6 that he didn’t realise that number 4 was a possibility. Most importantly, he forgot his constituency have all the power in deciding whether he goes back or not.”
