Super Falcons forward, Joy Omewa, has completed a move to Swedish champions BK Häcken, DAILY POST reports.
According to Swedish news outlet, STV, Häcken have already finalised the deal for the free agent.
Omewa was released by English second division club Nottingham Forest last month following the expiration of her contract.
The 23-year-old joins her international teammate Halimat Ayinde at Häcken.
The duo are in Nigeria’s squad for the upcoming 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
Omewa started her professional career in Denmark with Boldklubben af 1893 in 2021.
The striker spent half a season at the club before moving to another Danish club Fortuna Hjørring.
She helped Fortuna Hjørring win the domestic double in the 24/25 season, scoring 22 goals in 24 league appearances.
