Arise Television anchor, Rufai Oseni, has lambasted First Lady Oluremi Tinubu over her recent appeal to musicians to spend less on luxury cars and devote more of their wealth to charitable causes.

In a post shared on X on Sunday, Oseni challenged the First Lady to learn to reduce her convoy vehicles before asking other people to help poor Nigerians.

“The president’s wife says musicians should buy less Ferraris and co and spend more on charity. Can government officials also reduce their convoy,” he asked.

In the post, Oseni exposed what he identified as the First Lady’s convoy, arguing that public officials should lead by example when calling on others to make financial sacrifices.

His remark came after the First Lady’s speech at the launch of the National Community Food Bank in Lokoja, Kogi State, where she urged top Nigerian artistes, including Davido, Burna Boy and Asake, to establish charitable foundations and commit more of their wealth to supporting vulnerable Nigerians.
