Kano Pillars have confirmed the appointment of Daniel Ogunmodede as their new technical adviser, DAILY POST reports.

The Sai Masu announced Ogunmodede’s appointment in a short message on their X account on Friday.

“We’ve reached an agreement to appoint Daniel Ogunmodede (Ijaball) as our new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2026/2027 football season,” reads the statement.

“Welcome to Kano and the Sai Masu Gida family are happy to have you with us!”

The 46-year-old will sign a two-year contract with the four-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions.

Ogunmodede guided Remo Stars to win their maiden NPFL title in the 2024/25 season.

The young tactician left his role as the Sky Blue Stars technical adviser towards the end of last season.

He is also one of the assistants to Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle.
