The German football association (DFB) have announced that they’ll enter talks with Jurgen Klopp after manager Julian Nagelsmann stepped down four days after their shock World Cup exit. Klopp, 59, has already signalled his interest in the job, the DFB confirmed in a statement.

“Regarding the appointment of a new coach, the DFB leadership will now seek talks with Jurgen Klopp,” they said. “He has already signalled his general willingness to take on the position.”
