Brentford defender, Michael Kayode, has agreed a new six-year contract with the Premier League.

The deal will tie the 21-year-old to Bees until June 2021.

The club has moved to wade off interest from Kayode this summer, by offering him fresh terms, as reward for an impressive campaign.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on his X account on Friday morning.

Romano wrote: “EXCL: Brentford agree new deal for Michael Kayode valid until June 2032!

“All sealed as Brentford make huge, smart move to keep one of the most wanted RBs around.

“21-year-old Italian talent did excellent last season + big part of Brentford plans, club sources confirm.”
